TechTrek Milestones ……..the story so far.
TechTrek started business manufacturing and selling consumable storage media in 1985. It made the transition to software services and products in the year 2000 when the name was changed to TechTrek Technologies India Limited. During this period TechTrek built a number of IT products including BankTrack for SME banks and MediTrack for hospital management.
In the 2005 TechTrek changed its focus to data management, including data and document management solutions, data capture, conversion and warehousing services. We also provided on site IT development work in the UK for clients like Melstar, LBI Icon, The London Borough of Newham etc.
The importance of quality and security was paramount from the beginning and TechTrek invested in ISO 9000 for quality and ISO 27001 for security. This quickly paid off with the closure of a data capture contract for subscription management with a subsidiary of the BBC.
In 2009 we embarked on our five year plan to expand our services through acquisition. Our business model was to have five core sales propositions delivered primarily through two central services centres; our datacentre in West London and our data capture and back office service centre in Mumbai. The datacentre was ready for business at the end of 2009 running docHarbor digital archiving solution from Anacomp Inc. Business units in the UK and elsewhere we to use the central service centres to deliver our sales propositions to clients.
Growth gathered pace in 2010 with the acquisition of Anacomp SAS (now TechTrek SAS) in Paris and setting up TechTrek SRL in Rome. This year also saw the acquisition of Alsedo Development Team Limited providing Document Management and Business Process Software completing our sales proposition. In 2010 we delivered our first E-Billing service and developed our Accounts Payable solution with Anacomp Inc. Both these services are delivered in a SAAS format. The year closed with the acquisition of Digital Documents data capture bureau in Aylsford, Kent providing a team of experienced staff and facilities.
Partnerships have now become a key part of TechTrek's operating strategy and we are very fortunate to have developed solid relationships with Prime, Anacomp, DocuLynx, Wincanton and Document Guard.
In 2011 we see TechTrek move into year three of our strategic plan with at least two acquisitions scheduled and substantial sales growth and all our business units operating profitably. The hard work and loyalty from our management and staff is now bearing fruit.
